Dr. Im

Dr. Im specializes in unique decision support systems that utilizes spatial data visualization and modeling techniques. He is an adjunct faculty member at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). He received his Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Ph.D. from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. His work has been featured in The New Yorker magazine for his community participatory internet mapping project in 2006 as well as in The New York Times in 2008. His recent projects utilize community participatory geographic mapping systems for local and regional governments, statewide environmental organizations, education and non-profit organizations.
